Izeah R. Garcia is a Labor Union Organizer for the National Union of Healthcare Workers (NUHW), a 18,000 member-led union representing workers in California and Hawaii. Through his work at NUHW, Izeah has advocated for the interests of health care workers at the local, state and federal level. Before working at NUHW, Izeah was a Deputy Director at the Democratic National Committee in Washington, D.C. While working at the DNC, Izeah worked to elect the first Democratic Senator in thirty years in the state of Alabama, Doug Jones. Izeah helped with the implementation of Superdelegate reform after the 2016 election and helped elect Democrats throughout the country. If elected to the Orange County Democratic Central Committee, he would be an advocate for working people, climate justice and other progressive causes.

He received his B.A. in History of Public Policy at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He currently resides in Southern California with his wife, Liza Chairez and dog, Sunni. In his free time, Izeah enjoys reading novels and hiking.

Florice Orea Hoffman is a Worker's RIghts Attorney in Orange. She was a partner in the union side labor law firm Wohlner, Kaplon, Cutler, Halford & Rosenfeld in Encino. Florice started her own union side labor law firm Law Office of Florice Hoffman L.C. in 1999 and moved to Orange County in 2001. Florice’s clients have included the National Union of Healthcare Workers (NUHW), Brotherhood of American Apparel Workers, Teamsters Locals in Southern California, CWA and AFSCME. Prior to graduating from Rutgers School of Law, Florice was a shop steward for HERE now (UNITE/HERE), an organizer for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union now SEIU Service Workers United and a union organizer for District 65 UAW.

Since moving to Orange County, Florice became active in the Democratic Party of Orange County because of her opposition to the Iraq war. She has held the positions of Treasurer, Secretary, Vice Chair and Regional Vice Chair. Florice was first elected to the California Democratic Party Executive Board in 2007. She has served 6 years on the CDP credentials committee and was a member of the Voter Services committee from 2015 to 2021. Florice was an elected CDP Regional Director from 2015 to 2023. Florice was the Democratic nominee for Congress in 2006 against Ed Royce and ran for Orange Unified School Board in 2008 and 2014. She currently supports the recall in the OUSD. She successively advocated to the CDP that the CDP provide resources for local candidates in Orange County in order to turn and keep Orange County Blue. She worked to elect candidates up and down the ballot that lead to great changes in the governance in Orange County, but we are fighting to flip back the Republican Congressional seats

Florice has actively fought for women’s reproductive rights and has been endorsed by Planned Parenthood in her congressional race and schoolboard races. She was an outspoken critic of Prop 8 and was targeted for her support for LGBTQ rights and her support for comprehensive sex education in her school board races. Florice is a supporter of single payer healthcare and living wage ordinances. During the pandemic Florice fought for PPE, testing, access to vaccinations and hazard pay for workers.

She is the proud mother of Daniel and Gabriel Orea who are proudly gay and both politically active. Daniel graduated from Pitzer College in earned a master’s in bilingual education in Madrid, Spain and is currently attending Cal State Long Beach for a bilingual teaching credential in Spanish Gabriel is a graduate of Berkeley and UCI Law School and is currently working as an attorney for the State of California.
